ROMAN AND WILLIAMS GUILD

New York, NY

Roman and Williams Guild is a physical manifestation of the studio's philosophy: a 7,000-square-foot flagship in Soho that functions as a modern guild, uniting original design, global craftsmanship, and culinary experience under one roof. Housed in a landmark 1857 building, the space integrates a home and lifestyle shop with La Mercerie, a French restaurant. The two realms blur—tableware used in the restaurant is available for purchase, and dining flows into retail. A lower level features a curated
bookstore, found objects, and an intimate private dining room.

The Guild serves as the primary venue for Roman and Williams' furniture, lighting, and accessory collections, presented alongside handcrafted goods from international artisans. The design features custom architectural elements including the R.W. Atlas Collection faucets with Waterworks and bespoke hardware with H. Theophile.

A platform where design, object, and experience are inextricably linked
