Roman and Williams Guild presents the Marcel Collection: an assortment of furniture, lighting, glassware, and tabletop accessories thoughtfully designed for Marcel 945 Madison Avenue, the new restaurant designed, operated and owned by Roman and Williams in partnership with Sotheby’s New York, located in the historic Breuer building, a Brutalist landmark and the former home of the Whitney Museum of American Art.
High craft through the lens of architectural artistry and material honesty, the Marcel Collection, exclusively available at the Guild, draws inspiration from a nexus of design traditions, including the Bauhaus tradition of functional form and the heaviness, solidity, and presence of Brutalism.
